Master of Science in Elektrotechnik und Informationstechnik (in German)

The Master program Elektrotechnik und Informationstechnik builds upon an undergraduate education in Electrical Engineering or a similar field. With 9 core areas similar to the Department's Centers of Competence it covers the whole spectrum of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Students enjoy the ability to design their own curriculum based on their individual interests.

Even though the program offers several modules with English as medium of instruction, a proof of German proficiency is mandatory to apply. An application is already possible during the final semester of ongoing undergraduate studies. Motivation letters or reference letters are not required. An aptitude assessment will decide about admission. The Application periods are October 1st to November 30th for summer term and April 1st to May 31st for winter term.

The Master program offers two part-time options (50% and 66%). International students that require a student visa can only apply for the full-time option, as student visa are not granted for part-time studys.

Master of Science in Communications Engineering (in English)

The Master program Communications Engineering is a two-year high-level International Graduate Program  for graduates in Electrical Engineering or a similar undergraduate course. The program offers two specializations: Communications Systems and Communications Electronics. The Program is entirely taught in English.

An application is already possible during the final semester of ongoing undergraduate studies. Application requirements include a proof of English proficiency, a motivation letter and two reference letters. An aptitude assessment will decide about admission.

The Application periods are January 1st to March 15th of each year for international applicants for the international Masters and January 1st to May 31st for applicants not requiring an EU visa.

Master Communications Engineering

Master of Science in Power Engineering (in English)

The Master program Power Engineering is a two-year high-level International Graduate Program for graduates in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar undergraduate course. It involves the Departments of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Physics and Department of Civil, Geo and Environmental Engineering. The Program is entirely taught in English.

Master Power Engineering

Elite Master of Science in Neuroengineering (in English)

The ENB Elite Master program in Neuroengineering is a two-year graduate program, with an optional Research Excellence Certificate. The program is interdisciplinary and combines experimental and theoretical neuroscience with profound training in engineering. Besides taking a series of mandatory core courses, students will have the opportunity to choose from electives from multiple disciplines and to gain research experience under the guidance of world-renowned faculty. The program aims to attract high-profile international students and will provide a unique skill set that will open up career possibilities beyond the conventional job market. The Program is entirely taught in English.

Elite Master Neuroengineering

Master of Science in Integrated Circuit Design (TUM Asia)

The Master program Integrated Circuit Design is a joint-degree between Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Technische Universität Muenchen (TUM) that aims to educate the next generation of engineers and entrepreneurial leaders for the fast moving semiconductor industry. The programme contents range from analog, digital and mixed-circuit design over architectural concepts for integrated circuits to design methodology and automation.

The program is conducted by TUM Asia as a TUM subsidiary at TUM's Singapore campus.

Master Integrated Circuit Design

Master of Science in Green Electronics (TUM Asia)

The Master program Green Electronics is a joint-degree between Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Technische Universität Muenchen (TUM) that aims to educate the next generation semiconductor researchers and engineers to work in the research areas of novel electronic/optoelectronic devices and systems, with particular focus on the energy, sensing, monitoring and manufacturing fields.

The program is conducted by TUM Asia as a TUM subsidiary at TUM's Singapore campus.
