This is an announcement on bahalf of our partner graduate center IGSEE, notification by IGSSE Director Barbara Wohlmuth:
It is my pleasure to announce IGSSE´s 13th call for proposals. For the first time, IGSSE especially fosters the distinguished partnerships of TUM
• the Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences (ICES) at the University of Texas at Austin, U.S.,
• the University of Queensland (UQ), Australia, and
• universities/ research institutions in the State of São Paulo, Brazil (to be confirmed).
Therefore, we like to encourage researchers to join forces and to initiate IGSSE International Project Teams. Please note that in contrast to
previous years constellations with other international partners are not eligible for a proposal in this call.
Project teams with UT Austin’s ICES should be centered around the field of computational engineering and sciences. A UQ-IGSSE collaboration should
focus on topics in life sciences including nano- and biotechnology, and engineering.
As in the years before, the call is also open for proposals for IGSSE TUM-internal Project Teams integrating approaches and methods from at least
two diverse TUM departments.
The actual call will open on February, 26, 2018. At this date, detailed guidelines and a proposal template will be provided via email.
The deadline for submitting proposals is April, 02, 2018.
In case you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact Dr. Michael Klimke, IGSSE Managing Director (firstname.lastname@example.org), or Dr. Marco Barden,
Deputy to the Managing Director (email@example.com).
